Challenges and dissapointments

CHALLENGES AND DISAPPOINTMENTS

I have noticed that certain people really like to challenge others. Challenging others seems to excite them.  Second Life is a great place to observe people doing this. Challenging appears to be a drug to these people.  The person behind the keyboard remains anonymous in Second Life, so one never really knows the other person.  It could be someone feeling so unhappy in their real lives, that when they log into Second Life it is becomes a place where they  feel free to grow and  boost their self esteem.

I have nothing against this sort of thing if it just gives the challengers a needed boost to bring their self esteem to a level even with that of other people, but when challenging others is taken to extremes, the consequences suffered by others is such as to warrent judging these people to be predators. They send the bait for the victim to bite, and when the victim bites it, they are caught. Then when the challenger has satisfied his appetite, they are thrown away like rubbish, no longer useful to the challenger. It is sad, because Second Life is supposed to be a place for everyone to feel good doing things that they  cannot do in their real life.

I have talked with a number of people in Second Life about their experiences, and I am really sorry to see both men and women damaged by others in this way. Often what they believed before about people, they no longer believe anymore, and in some cases they feel very empty. I have  talked with women who have said that after having experienced pose balls for sex, they are made to feel disappointed, deeply hurt and angry. They end by seeing some men as real predators, men who regard them as they would a whore, someone they can have for free, since they dont need to pay. Their victim then is not seen as someone who is real and has feelings, their excuse always being that Second Life is not real and so sex there is not real.

But this is not true. We listen and when we think about something we are already doing it, perhaps not in our actions but in our thoughts. So what we do in Second Life we feel in real life. Our avatars of course only make something when we  manage them. It is convenient for some to forget that we are real people behind those little avatars.  Some women have told  me that they do not want sex in Second Life anymore, because in Second Life they felt as though they were treated as an object. This kind of experience damages some women in their real lives too, and what they believed before, they no longer believe.

It is also true that not only men have such bad behaviour. Women do the same things. I have noticed some women smile and show themselves to be so sweet and great, but after some time we discover they do harm every place they go. They want so much for a man to kneel at their feet; they fancy that all men belong to them, and they are superb in their efforts to create drama. They care nothing about the consequences that such behavior will bring. They want so much to boost their self esteem. Then in the end they run away after damaging everyone, These kind of women dont mind messing up the life of some  man in real life. They want to do this because it makes them feel as though they were a  superwomen.

This is sad world that we live in. This is true, but what might we do to make everything diferent?  I honestly dont know. Maybe we need to make something better inside of ourselves and avoid  damaging others just because we dont feel happy ourselves.

Before leaving for a long journey
You must bring with you the desire not to return
Before not be sincere
Do you think that you only betray you

Before leaving for a long journey
Bring your desire not to return
Before disagree
Try to listen to some 'more

Before not be alone
Try to think if you love me
Before claiming something
Try to think of what you give

It is not easy, however,
It's all here
It is not easy, however,
It's all here

Before leaving for a long journey
Bring your desire to adapt
Before claiming orgasm
Just try to love you

Before not be sincere
Do you think that you only betray you
Before claiming something
Try to think of what you give

It is not easy, however,
It's all here
It is not easy, however,
It's all here

It is not easy, however,
It's all here

Before claiming something
Try to think of what you give

I still want to believe in people

I still want to believe in people

It  is hard to believe that everyone can be wrong.  It may be our nature usually to accuse other people and not ourselves of being wrong. Everyone has his or her own personality which is partly innate, but which also may be created by the person himself. We learn to bring about or determine some situatons, while other situations are imposed upon us by our society. We learn to become self-determining in our behavior, depending to some extent upon our background.

It seems though that some people, living under tough and difficult conditions, are able to learn fast and understand that living means making choices. It is a gift that we have and must learn to appreciate.  Unfortunately, some people - even those living under the best of conditions - feel more depressed than those who are less fortunate, and in some cases do not see any reason to live.

This seems hard to understand sometimes, but this is because we are not alike. We have differences, but it may be just these differences that could make us better. What happens though is that these differences bring about conflict. Perhaps because of our nature, we tend to notice when our neighbors seem not to have good skills. It is then that we believe that our skills are better, even though we know that our neighbor may be good at something else - something that could be a worthy thing for us to learn. Still we prefer to ignore what is good about our neighbor and live in competition with him. Now,  I am not against competition but I am against negative competition, attempting to succeed at being better and smashing the other person until he becomes our number one enemy.  This  doesn’t take or require good sense, but only the desire to destroy.

It seems to me that we live in a world striving for success and perfection, where everyone believes himself to be completely good, and in this world, where perfection is so valued, there are no ugly, weak or imperfect people.  To be imperfect is to be ashamed.  I do question this. How shall we find perfection when we are not perfect beings? If we were perfect, why we would we be in this world?  Why we should have to go through this?

It must be, that since we are not perfect, that we are in this world as a school, as a place to learn, and a place where we have much to learn. When we finish university, it doesn’t mean that the university taught us everything. It merely opened the door for us, opened the door to more knowledge and greater opportunities to create. Learning to be an engineer doesn’t mean that one is learning to be a doctor of medicine or a scientist. No one knows everything; each person develops a limited amount of knowledge. What I am good at, you should not be as able. Engineers should be good at engineering, but not as good as another who is in science or some other field,

This is about changing our ideas and our thinking about these things; this is what I am trying to convince you to do. What you may be able to explain to me about engineering, I would be able to explain to you, at least to the same extent in science. What you are good at, I may not be; what I am good at, you may not be. I think that we have much to learn, but no one seems interested in doing this. We often believe that we already know enough, and we think, "Why should I spend more time learning more? I am just not interested."  We just want our career and success, and we want to save some money, but how wrong this is. Life is constant learning and changing and choosing. We open our door to knowledge, but when will we decide to open our door to reason and stop having such preconceived ideas?

Independence Day (United States)

During the American Revolution, the legal separation of the Thirteen Colonies from Great Britain occurred on July 2, 1776, when the Second Continental Congress voted to approve a resolution of independence that had been proposed in June by Richard Henry Lee ofVirginia declaring the United States independent from Great Britain.[4][5] After voting for independence, Congress turned its attention to the Declaration of Independence, a statement explaining this decision, which had been prepared by a Committee of Five, withThomas Jefferson as its principal author. Congress debated and revised the wording of the Declaration, finally approving it on July 4. A day earlier, John Adams had written to his wifeAbigail:
The second day of July, 1776, will be the most memorable epoch in the history of America. I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival. It ought to be commemorated as the day of deliverance, by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forever more.[6]
Adams's prediction was off by two days. From the outset, Americans celebrated independence on July 4, the date shown on the much-publicized Declaration of Independence, rather than on July 2, the date the resolution of independence was approved in a closed session of Congress.[7]
Historians have long disputed whether Congress actually signed the Declaration of Independence on July 4, even though Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, and Benjamin Franklin all later wrote that they had signed it on that day. Most historians have concluded that the Declaration was signed nearly a month after its adoption, on August 2, 1776, and not on July 4 as is commonly believed.[8][9][10][11][12]
In a remarkable coincidence, both John Adams and Thomas Jefferson, the only signers of the Declaration of Independence later to serve as Presidents of the United States, died on the same day: July 4, 1826, which was the 50th anniversary of the Declaration. Although not a signer of the Declaration of Independence, but another Founding Father who became a President, James Monroe, died on July 4, 1831, thus becoming the third president in a row who died on this memorable day. Calvin Coolidge, the 30th President, was born on July 4, 1872, and, so far, is the only President to have been born on Independence Da

What is a sin?

What is a Sin?

A sin is an act that violates a moral rule.. It is normal we need  a mass of rules to live  in  harmony with other  humans.. Not having a rule or moral law .. it would be chaos  .. Not all characters are alike.. Some characters or personalities have the tendency to acquire the knowledges and the rule  according the  roots and the culture where they living .. besides the world has the tendency to  have   relations closer .. economy and policy.. it has some  small  bond diferents.. like Chinese ppl love to eat rice, but european ppl barely eat rice.. one example.. So im asking that.. what is a sin??A sin is an  act  that we  always hurted or violated a law or someone.. But a sin can be something more serious frightener .. if we  talk about religion or what religious people  thinks about a sin.. for Christian people .. a sin is something so hard and bad.. it is offense against to  God and our brothers, which  bring so harm, in some way.. a sin it can be It.. something that can bring harm.. for everyone even the own sinner.. For  Christians a sin is not only offence to God but who refuses to obey the laws of God ,. it can be in thoughts and  actions.. and they separate it in some kind of sins.. mortal sin and venial sin.  To the Muslim see the sin as anything that goes against the  commands of Allah but they teach that sin an act and not a state of being, one the other hand Buddhism does not recognize the  idea  behind sin, but believes of  karma, whereby suferring is the inevitable consequence of greed, anger an delusion known as the three poison.

It is the briefly description  about sin, but i will make this question.. what is really a sin?? is it  a sin to steall and give food who is diying by hunger.. Is it a sin to commit adultery when our partner doesnt loves us anymore and ignores us??? Is it a sin  to like having  the same stuff of our neighbour has??  Well there are so many questions which  we could  develope about sins.. because it seems that, sometimes we commit a sin, we might  not had  wanted  to do ,   we might not had   other way , some  situations might  oblige us to commit a sin   ..

nevertheless   we can say  that too , a  sin can be a lesson , lessons which  can be so  harsh and rough  consequences.. maybe we can think about it.. when Judas had betrayed jesus.. he had commited  a sin.. the greediness  or  the scare or even  his own personality was insecurity,, after he had commited  that  sin, he had deceived his friend.. Jesus.. he saw what he had done.. it was like he  had dropped someone into the death. someone, who had been  an innocent.. dont you think that  sin was so heavy for Judas?? Dont you think after he had  destroed the life of someone.. he had destroyed his own life because  he wasnt able to live anymore.. his own  conscience was heavy... So Judas had paid  for his own sin.

In fact, what is the really  a Sin.. act that we violated  rule.. or it is own conscience will be violated???  Think about???

WHO IS YOUR WORSE ENEMY....YOUR CONSCIENCE??

It has been said that conscience does not stop you from doing what you shouldn't, it just stops you from enjoying it.
I'm not going to go into a long explanation about what conscience might be.  It has been mentioned in religion, philosophy and psychology and in is a deep issue.  The simply understanding of conscience is that it is the part of our consciousness that makes judgments, and distinguishes right from the wrong.
The well-known neuroscientist Antonio Damasio has shown in his research that emotions play a central role in social cognition and decision-making including decisions about moral judgements. Damasio considers conscience an aspect of extended consciousness, which incorporates the search for truth and desire to build 'norms' and ideals for behavior.  Almost everyone has a conscience.  It is now known that those without the ability to form moral judgement typically have some kind of neurological disorder.  Numerous case studies of brain damage have shown that damage to specific areas of the brain (e.g. the anteriorprefrontal cortex) results in the reduction the ability for moral reasoning.
Here is how conscience makes.  Imagine that you are a person of modest ways, with simple job.  One day a man appear to you and makes a proposal that can make you a lot of money, but it includes doing something very wrong, something that is in conflict with your inner values.  As you ponder the idea, and the rewards it will bring, you understands that you can have succeed with the plan without getting caught.  Someone with high levels of integrity would refuse to participate in the plan, but what is right and wrong is not always so obvious to us.  Sometimes ours judgements are clouded by temptation.  If you decide to say yes, and go along with plan, you may get away with the wrong doing, and also make a lot of money for your efforts.  But this is where the conscience becomes an active voice with in you.  Conscience pertains to self-scrutiny: conscience involves a person’s examination of one's actions, and connects with sentiments of self-evaluation, such as guilt, shame, regret and remorse. Your conscience will always accuse you of what you did. You will try to forget it, or look to justify your actions to yourself, but it is always there to remind you of the truth.

In the 1990 movie  "Flatliners," a group of medical student decided to  prove that there is life after the death; temporarily they  shut down or "flatline" their heart and brain functions to briefly experience clinical death.  The experiment is a success but they begin to face a horror too.  Something from their past returns to their minds and they started to live in two different worlds, the real, and imagined in their conscience.  One of the medical student discovers that it is their conscience that is accussing them what they did wrong in the past, and only forgiveness can make them free of their horror.  The lesson here is that the things we do against our nature remains in our conscience. The guilt remains welling up inside of us and can consume us.  Our conscience can haunt as like a ghost.  We become our own worst enemy.

This can work in reverse as well. A conscientious act is when we stop ourselves from doing things against our morals.  A conscientious objector is an individual whose personal beliefs are incompatible with military service, or sometimes with any role in the armed forces. The reasons for refusing to serve are varied. Many conscientious objectors are so for religious reasons—notably, members of the historic peace churches are pacifist by doctrine. Other objections can stem from a deep sense of responsibility toward humanity as a whole, or from simple denial that any government should have that kind of moral authority.
Conscience can be a part of our moral judgments, helping us to take right actions.  But it also has a long as well memory and it does not let us forget out misdeeds.  Ultimately we pay for all of our the bad actions in one way or another.
Think about it.

Woman's love  is like a treasure..

Woman knows what is love,

when woman loves ,  she is  singing  to the world

she is not ashamed of their own feelings..
she carry all pains, she never give up
she is always there for him
Never deny the love of the woman

I couldnt forget the beautiful quotes of my friend Delphinus Resident.. when i read it.. touched  my heart so i have the pleasure to show these in my blog: Thanks Delphinus.

Someday you will learn that not all men are kind, not all men are true. But have faith in the person you care about and love him unconditionally. For every lie there is a truth. For every hate and anger there is love. ?

Someday you will question, why do we love if we don't get anything in return? Why do we suffer  to save our friend?  You will see that your mind, heart and soul have no price tags. And that it's always worthy to sacrifice for someone who means the world to you.

John Griffith "Jack" London (born John Griffith Chaney,[1] January 12, 1876 – November 22, 1916)[2][3][4][5] was an American author, journalist, and social activist. He was a pioneer in the then-burgeoning world of commercial magazine fiction and was one of the first fiction writers to obtain worldwide celebrity and a large fortune from his fiction alone.[6] He is best remembered as the author of Call of the Wild and White Fang, both set in the Klondike Gold Rush, as well as the short stories "To Build a Fire", "An Odyssey of the North", and "Love of Life".[citation needed] He also wrote of the South Pacific in such stories as "The Pearls of Parlay" and "The Heathen", and of the San Francisco Bay area in The Sea Wolf.
London was a passionate advocate of unionization, socialism, and the rights of workers and wrote several powerful works dealing with these topics such as his dystopian novel, The Iron Heel and his non-fiction exposé, The People of the Abyss.

RUDE AND NASTY PEOPLE IN SL....

RUDE AND NASTY PEOPLE IN SL....

It seems to me that many people like to behave this way (RUDE & NASTY!)..Now days it's easier for some people to  have that sort of an attitude...it also to some degree gives people a bit of status, power , and control within the game by creating fear within others, but what they don't realize is that although people may fear them these same people also detest them..If these same people would try to be more kind and polite to others they would get much more statisfaction out of this game and  in their own personal lives...They would begin to be admired by others and find they have much more status then they do by being a complete ass...This actually saddens me to know that people like this exist in this world...apparently they have no respect for other human beings but more important they have no respect for themselves and will never truely be loved by anybody...A world without love is basically living in a true hell..a hell we all can only imagine exists...This is my personal opinion of course...A phychologist on the other hand may describe people like this as being sociopaths or neurotic to the point they are truely a danger to society...If this was sociological I would be describing the behavior of society and the different cultures..etc...Im not here to try and explain the science of it or its phylosophy...I am only here to give you my point of view  for I have witnessed this first hand and have also been a victim of it myself...One last thought..If nature gives us so many beautiful things in life why are so many people living  with such hate and anger for other fellow human beings...If you only sat and thought for one moment all the pleasure you would receive by giving pleasure to others...what a wonderful world this would be...SERIOUSLY THINK ABOUT THIS !!

Gabriel José de la Concordia García Márquez (Spanish pronunciation: [ɡaˈβɾjel ɡaɾˈsia ˈmaɾkes]; born March 6, 1927[1]) is a Colombian novelist, short-story writer, screenwriter andjournalist, known affectionately as Gabo throughout Latin America. He is considered one of the most significant authors of the 20th century. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literaturein 1982, and is the earliest winner of this prize who is still alive. He pursued a self-directed education that resulted in his leaving law school for a career in journalism. From early on, he showed no inhibitions in his criticism of Colombian and foreign politics. In 1958, he married Mercedes Barcha; they have two sons, Rodrigo and Gonzalo.
He started as a journalist, and has written many acclaimed non-fiction works and short stories, but is best known for his novels, such as One Hundred Years of Solitude (1967) and Love in the Time of Cholera (1985). His works have achieved significant critical acclaim and widespread commercial success, most notably for popularizing a literary style labeled asmagical realism, which uses magical elements and events in otherwise ordinary and realistic situations. Some of his works are set in a fictional village called Macondo (the town mainly inspired by his birthplace Aracataca), and most of them express the theme of solitude.
